Inviting a Friend on iPhone



1. Open the iPhone Contacts app, and make sure your friend's phone number is there. If not, add your friends name and cell phone number.
Make sure you enter the number in the full international format. For example, a United States phone number is in the format +14081234567.[5]



2. Open WhatsApp. 

. 3. Touch Favorites. If your friend is using WhatsApp, their name will appear in the Favorites list.

4. If your friend isn't in the list, scroll to the bottom of the list, and then touch Invite Friends to WhatsApp.
5. Send an invitation message via email, SMS message, or Twitter.
WhatsApp will compose the invitation message for you, but you can edit it before you send it.
