WhatsApp Messenger is a mobile messaging application that allows users to text and chat with one another using the Internet on their devices. WhatsApp is currently available on a number of mobile platforms, including the iPhone.
1. Launch the iTunes App Store on your iPhone.
3. Type “WhatsApp” into the search field to locate the WhatsApp Messenger application.
4. Click directly on “WhatsApp Messenger” when it displays in the search results. The details and description of the application will then display on your screen.
5. Click on the blue pricing button in the upper right corner of the WhatsApp details screen. The WhatsApp Messenger application is free for the first year of use, and costs 99 cents per year following the first year
6. Enter your iTunes App Store account information if prompted to do so. WhatsApp Messenger will begin downloading to your iPhone, and will display a faded WhatsApp icon on the home screen of your iPhone.
7. Wait for the WhatsApp Messenger application to finish downloading. The app will be ready for use when the blue progress bar disappears and the WhatsApp icon is no longer faded in appearance
